Welcome to Data Extractio. By accessing or using our PDF table extraction service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Description of Service

Data Extractio provides a web-based PDF table extraction service that allows users to:

• Upload PDF documents
• Select and extract tables from PDF pages
• Export extracted data to Excel format
• Create and save extraction templates for reuse
• Process multiple PDFs in batch mode

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use our service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password, or by signing in with Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

3.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Upload or process any content that you do not have the right to process
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service to process illegal, abusive, or offensive content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our service
• Resell or redistribute our service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the PDF files you upload and the data extracted from them. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the extraction service.

5.2 Our Service

The Data Extractio service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content (excluding user-uploaded content) is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Data Processing and Storage

We process and store your uploaded PDF files and extracted data as described in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that:

• Files are stored securely in cloud storage (Supabase)
• We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content
• We may retain files for the duration of your account's existence
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
• We implement reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• 100% accuracy of extracted data
• Compatibility with all PDF formats
• Specific uptime percentages

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Data Extractio shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Errors or inaccuracies in extracted data
• Service interruptions or data loss

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of extracted data

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Data Extractio, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you upload or process

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service:

• For violations of these Terms
• For fraudulent or illegal activity
• For abuse of the service
• At our sole discretion, with or without notice

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your profile settings. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Data Extractio operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our service shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Binding arbitration if negotiation fails

You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Data Extractio regarding the use of our service.
